The members of the Impho Consortium bring strength to Antalis South Africa through their network of established relationships throughout the African continent – providing us with access to new opportunities, both in the South African market and across Africa.

The beneficiaries of Impho Consortium include the Fort Hare Foundation, a Trust representing the SA Council of Churches and the Leadership Foundation Trust.

In a separate empowerment transaction, The Antalis South Africa Employees Empowerment Trust acquired a 5.1% share in Antalis South Africa. For these employee shareholders, the benefit of this empowerment deal is the fact that they will share in the financial benefits of being a part of the Antalis international operation, which is the largest paper merchant group in Europe.

Empowerdex (Pty) Ltd certified Antalis South Africa with a B rating which represents a Level 7 contributor. A copy of the Antalis South Africa Rating Certificate is available on request. Antalis South Africa is committed to Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment and we are determined to improve upon this rating, year after year, by focusing on Enterprise and Socio-Economic Development and continuing with our current Employment Equity initiatives.
