Antalis boasting the presence of a prestigious Kodak contingent-29-08-2011
During August Antalis South Africa (Pty) Ltd will be hosting the most prestige Kodak team ever to have hit South Africa’s shores!
Philip Cullimore, Managing Director, Consumer and Commercial businesses EAMER and Chairman Eastman Kodak Sàri; Gustavo Oviedo, Chief Customer Officer and General Manager, Worldwide Regional Operations; Philip Faraci, President and Chief Operating Officer, Eastman Kodak Company and Komal Sharma will spend more than 10 days with the jubilant Antalis team.
“We are incredibly privileged to welcome a team of this magnitude and, during their stay we will use the opportunity to showcase the outstanding business opportunities available in our regions.” said Keith Solomon, Director of Antalis. “It was during the Kodak kick-off meeting in Athens, at which we were awarded the Kodak Partner of the Year award, that their visit was first discussed. August was pegged as the date which, for us, was even more exciting as it coincides with the Sign Africa show.”

Joining Kodak in 2000, Phillip Cullimore has over eleven years experience in the photographic marketplace having previously directed Kodak’s strategy in the snapshot printermarket, taken responsibility for Kodak’s Wide Format Printer and Inks as well as looking after the interests of Professional Photographers as European Manager for Kodak’s Professional Output products.
Gustavo Oviedo’s career spans more than 25 years working in the United States, Latin America, Asia and Europe. Since joining Kodak Gustavo has overseen Worldwide Sales and customer support for the companys Consumer Digital Imaging (CDG) and Graphic Communication Groups being responsible for the UnitedStates and Canada, European, African and Middle Eastern and Asia Pacific Regions. Gustavo is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
Philip Faraci is responsible for Kodak’s three major digital businesses; the Consumer Digital Imaging Group (CDG), the Graphic Ommunications Group (GCG) andthe Film, Photofinishing and Entertainment Group (FPEG). Joining Kodak in 2004 Philip brought with him over 20 years of experience with Hewlett-Packard as well as his qualifications – BA in applied mechanics from the University of California, San Diego as well as a graduate of the University’s Executive Programme for Scientists and Engineers.
Komal Sharma currently holds the position of Sales Director, Consumer and Commercial businesses Middle East & Africa and Vice President EAMER. Komal has held this position for more than seven years and is responsible for increasing Kodak’s presence whilst developing channel partners & customer relationships inthe Middle East, Africa and Turkey regions. With a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Delhi as well as being a Chartered AccountantKomal brings extensive experience to his role.
“During their stay we will be hosting, amongst other events, a press conference during which the Executives will share some of the key initiatives the organisation has implemented establishing themselves as one of today’s most iconic brands,” concluded Solomon.
